Halloweenie!!

So much fun last night. My first time really hanging out at 'La Row' (Santana Row) and it wasn't bad. We went out with my Planet Beauty Breezie Jenni-purr, the sexy pirate in the picture. We ended up going to Rosies. The crowd is definately a bit older, no perverts trying to grab my ass, but there were some old guys trying to dance with us discreetly..Good thing my handsome doctor had my back. (haha). Anywho! It was weird at first because EVERYONE was in normal clothing and we were dressed up, but as the night went along, more and more halloween spirit showed :)
Can't wait till Halloween Day! SF here we come baby~

Kazoo Sushi is Okay

I ate with alby again at Kazoo sushi.. i really wanted to go to SUSHI KAI, but for some reason, i didn't feel hungry and by the time we wanted to go, we were too lazy to drive.

Kazoo is okay. It's decent sushi. They call a vietnamese spring roll a see through roll with the aspirations of appearing "unique" and they slather special sauce on everything to make it look cool. It worked for me. Anywho, it was nice they gave us towels to cleanse our hands, nice and warm and the tea was delish. otherwise a pretty standard experience. Don't get the salad and just go eat at Michi sushi down the street. Final Review: Cheap, tasty, but nothing that blew me out of the water

A message to the smarter sex of the two

Females!! Hello! Guess what? i think you're fabulous!

I ran across something interesting as i was searching on MSN today. A common mistake we unfortunately tend to repetitively do. It was an article called Don't wait for him to call. I love all these neat relationship books and this is definately a lesson that i wanted to share! Now, if you ever feel the sudden urge to call please save yourself from the humiliation and hold your dignity realllll close and don't do it! Instead stay calm.. its not the end of the world. Another piece of advice that i couldn't phrase better than the author was to not ANALYZE the situation. I'm incredibly embarassed to admit that i'm a culprit of this. eek. never again

"Don’t over-analyze:Resist the urge to call your girlfriends and run down the list of reasons why he may not be calling: He lost your number, he misread your number, he got really sick, his grandmother got really sick, he’s swamped at work, etc. All are unlikely and usually only lead to one conclusion: He’s not interested. Then why, you ask, would he ask for your number in the first place? Who cares? Do you really want to date someone who’s not even considerate enough to call? " You know its true. If your still not convinced, then DAMN you're a major CABRON. But it's okay, atleast you don't look like him when you sleep! :)

Two Thumbs up for Lioux Chinese Food!

Heck, i would give it three if i could. This hole in the wall spot is DELCIOUS and the staff is incredibly friendly. I felt like i was at a family gathering and my aunt was telling me "no stay eat more eat more". Seriously love having you in their presence and in their restaurant and aren't trying to get you in and out. The staff is EXTREMELY attentive also. by far the best i've had at a restaurant in a long time. I can't wait to go back. Oh and did i mention the food was amazing!! heres some things i ordered (pictures to make you jealous haha):

Here's my eating Buddy:He Sweats when he eats and yes thats a napkin stuck to his forehead HAHA

You always get what you want

I never understood why it was so hard for people to grasp this concept or view of life. It's an optimistic approach to life. Of couse we know its not true, but in a way it is, if you contort the situation somehow.
For example, One that i'm questioned about is..
"Well Kelly, what if i like someone and they don't like me back, or they only see me as a friend"
My answer.. If you end up getting them, there is a possiblity that you wouldnt be given the same love and emotion that you supply, which leads to an unequal relationship. Why would you want that? Therefore you got what you wanted! It was also a chance to learn how to handle rejection, learn from the experience and you saved time to meet someone who will truly care for you the same way.

Another example: Getting a bad grade
Well you obviously didn't study enough or you didn't get help for something that you misunderstood. Unless you have a disability, you have no one to blame but yourself! Next time just study harder. Go get what you want!

Try using this in your everyday life, who knows how content it could make you or the great things it will bring. Whatever you do, just don't forget to thank me ;)

by the way look !! i finally hit 77777 on my car. Maybe lucks coming my way !

Some Relationship Advice

  1. SAY SORRY ASSWHOLES. A simple sincere and heartfelt apology can sometimes do wonders for a relationship, especially if your partner sees you as a person who never admits they are wrong or at fault.
  2. SPEAK UP. Confiding what is in your heart and in your mind can make a huge difference in promoting understanding, closeness, and intimacy.
  3. ACKNOWLEDGE THE PROBLEM. just acknowledging it can decrease tension and conflict because it shows your partner you are at least listening to them. It also demonstrates empathy and the ability to see things from their vantage point instead of only yours. Sorry to be the bairer of bad news, but you're not always right.
  4. TAKE RESPONSIBILITY. Yea even if its not your fault. Give up the freaking ego and just take part of the blame. The inability to accept any responsibility is a sign of defensiveness. Accepting some of the blame is required for good communication. Ex: Yeah, i could see that we both did something wrong.

5. TAKE ACTION. I never understood why guy think sorry is enough. Im sorry? Nope! Doesn't cut it. If you continually repeat the offensive behavior. Backup words with action. Show concrete evidence that you will try to change.

(idea from some girls blog)

Good Case of Bad Luck

We went out last night to a place called Bubble Lounge. It was a very relaxing vibe, a good change from the usually 'hyphy' crowd we're use to. Maybe if i was older i would enjoy it more. Anywho, We spend about 30-45 minutes searching for parking on Broadway . Thats SUCKED, but i guess it was better than waiting in the long line + we got great parking in the end so whatevs!
Dude yesterday i totally jinx myself though.
Gina said "oh your wearing peep toes, not a good shoe for a club"
Kelly: "i wear peep toes all the time"
Gina: " yeah, but people could step on your feet. especially girls with high heels."
Side note: Ouch!! this has happened to me before, it hurt like a beep
Kelly: Oh it shouldnt be a problem

Just my luck..some STUPID guy totally slams his big fat stupid shoe into my big toe and splits my nail in HALF. I mean what the hell was he wearing like combat boots or something. Sheesh. I wish i could have poked his eyes out after making me suffer through that excruciating pain. OMG..and the worse part is i got blood on my shoes DAMMIT! Luckily i met a girl named Cindy who was kind enough to grab my foot and seal it with a Liquid Bandage. Definately something i'll be putting on my shopping list. Thank you cindy! She will recieve good karma, i know it. I wish there were more people in the world like her.
Anywho..From now on I'll be sure to watch out where im walking...or who im walking into.

Happy People are Grateful for things

List of what i'm grateful for:

  • My fantastic Family
  • My fabulous Friends (excluding thai, hes in the middle)
  • The fact that i could still zip up my jeans without a major struggle
  • My great job(s)
  • My love for meeting new people
  • My future experiences that lie ahead and the intriguing people i will encounter

I'm sure there's more. The point of this list? I just learned that people who write down what they are grateful for once a week will utimately be happier in life and will live 7 years longer! Optismism is the best way to turn you're frown upside down! (cheesy, i know). And if that doesn't work.. then just look at this picture below. It always works for me. ^_^

Don't run with scissors

Don't waste your time.Instead just go to Chris, he'll give you the same style!
The clean even look was so last year fella's.Chris is your man. He'll hook you up with a nice fade. Squiggly lines, Zig zags, possibly even happy faces; who knows what this man is capable of!
